Apollo 11 Moon Landing 50th Anniversary Coin Collection
To commemorate the Apollo 11 moon landing and America’s exploration of space, the U.S. Mint has issued several historic regular-issue coins – and this exceptional sculpture is accompanied by a complete set of these coins. Coins included in this collection are: the Eisenhower dollar, the Bicentennial Eisenhower dollar, Susan B. Anthony dollar, the 1969 Kennedy half-dollar and statehood quarters from Ohio and Florida. The complete collection of coins – along with an exclusive privately minted medallion commemorating the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 – is presented around the base of the custom-crafted sculpture of Armstrong and Aldrin planting the American flag on the moon’s surface. The sculpture is crafted of cold-cast porcelain and is masterfully sculpted and painted to achieve a dramatic display worthy of this historic set of coins.
