History of the U.S. Quarter Collection
This collection traces this coin's fascinating development all the way from the mid-19th Century Liberty to the beloved first issues of the current, extremely popular National Parks quarter series.
The four oldest quarters including Liberty Seated (1838-1891), Barber (1892-1916), Standing Liberty (1916-1930), and Washington Silver (1932-1964), were minted exclusively in 90% silver. Even these rare coins, despite their considerable age, are presented in gently circulated condition, with all major design details and artistry clearly visible.
The remaining three quarters in the collection: the 1975-6 Bicentennial Quarter, the Delaware State Quarter (1999) and Yellowstone National Parks Quarter (2010) are every bit as fascinating and beautiful. What's more, these coins are presented in stunning, gem-brilliant, never-circulated condition.
A custom-crafted wooden chest makes this landmark collection even more impressive. On the inside of the chest cover, you'll discover important highlights from the long, proud history of the American Quarter. To preserve these treasure, each coin is encased in a protective plastic capsule, making it easy to examine your coins up close, letting you fully admire the quality and beauty of each classic American quarter.
