In 1958, George Barris, the Legendary "King of the Kustomizers," took the hot rodding world by storm when he unveiled a creation that would become one of the most significant hot rods of all time -- the Ala Kart. It became the first vehicle to ever win the title of "America's Most Beautiful Roadster" at the prestigious Oakland Roadster Show two years in a row.

It is with great pride that, in 2009, we join with George Barris and the hot rodding community in celebrating the 50^th anniversary of the Ala Kart’s second consecutive “America’s Most Beautiful Roadster” award by offering a special commemorative reissue of our acclaimed replica.
