Every detail of the 1957 Chevy Pro Street Hardtop is meant to intimidate the competition and fulfill its promise of power and speed. Lift off the removable hood snorkel and raise the cut-out hood to view the centerpiece of this model: a supercharged big-block Chevy V-8, complete with nitrous oxide lines running to a tank behind the driver’s seat. Both doors open to reveal the model’s intricately detailed interior with its six-point roll cage, custom seats with aircraft-style belts and driver’s side racing harness, a fire extinguisher, a custom dash-mounted tach and an over-rev light. There are even custom racing pedals and a parachute release handle mounted to the roll bar!
