This traditional, Bavarian-style barometer accurately predicts the weather with the aid of two hand-carved figurines.  When air pressure rises, the delightful lady of the house comes out to savor the fine weather.  If air pressure falls -- signifying inclement weather -- the woman goes inside and the man comes out.  Undaunted by turbulent weather, this brave fellow is all set to face the storm with his top hat and umbrella.

Hand-carved by skilled German craftsmen from the finest linden wood -- a soft wood favored by woodworkers.
