A Century of Lincoln Pennies
A complete collection including historic and hard-to-find one-cent coins and featuring the four new 2009 & 2010 Lincoln penny designs!
This landmark collection uniquely brings together pennies from all 100 years of mintage. It includes 106 encapsulated Lincoln pennies showcased in an awe-inspiring display. Among them, you'll receive all four new 2009 pennies in recognition of the bicentennial of President Abraham Lincoln's birth, the new 2010 penny, as well as rare pennies from 1909 and 1943, and even the 1922 penny valued at more than $20.
Each coin is encapsulated in a crystal clear capsule to provide easy examination of both sides. Every coin minted after 1959 is in uncirculated condition, while the coins minted before are in very good, circulated condition. Rare and difficult to find, the inaugural 1909 penny, the 1943 penny minted in steel during World War II and the coveted and scarce 1922 penny -- are all included! Not only are these coins minted in limited quantities, but they will only be minted for a very brief period.
To do justice to this superb collection, the Danbury Mint artisans have crafted a display featuring a cold-cast porcelain re-creation of the famous Lincoln Memorial statue. Each is hand painted to achieve the age-old patina of statuary marble. This handsome collection conveniently and affordably gathers each and every penny in one spectacular display.
Actual size of display is 21-3/4" in length x 9" in height (at its highest point) x 9" deep.
